Here we provide a selection of academic journal templates for articles and papers which automatically format your manuscripts in the style required for submission to that journal. Thanks to the partnerships we're building within the publishing community, you can also now submit your paper directly to a number of journals and other editorial and review services via the publish menu in the editor.

This is a skeleton file demonstrating the use of the IEEEtran.cls style with an IEEE journal paper, and with example bibliography files included.
These bibliography files are includes to provide one example of how to set up a bibliography for your IEEE paper.

LaTeX template for preparing an article for submission to OSA journals Applied Optics, Advances in Optics and Photonics, JOSA-A, JOSA-B and Optics Letters
This template can be used to prepare a research article for submission to OSA’s journals Applied Optics, Advances in Optics and Photonics, JOSA A, JOSA B and Optics Letters.
Note that this template can be run from your own TeX system or within the cloud-based Overleaf system (formerly writeLaTeX).
Once your article is complete, you may submit it directly to Prism (the OSA's article tracking system) via the 'Submit to OSA' option in the Overleaf editor.
Version 1.4, 2015/10/20: update includes addition of Advances in Optics and Photonics style and update to Optics Letters template to include automatic generation of the two reference list styles (abbreviated and full).

Overleaf and NAS have created this template for authors submitting research reports to PNAS. The template allows authors to easily prepare and edit their Contributed or Direct Submission manuscripts using Overleaf. Authors can then submit manuscripts to PNAS by using the PDF and source files generated by Overleaf. To begin writing online (in your browser), simply click the Open as Template button above. Overleaf and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) have created this template for authors submitting manuscripts to all 35 ASCE Journals. The template allows authors to easily prepare and edit their manuscripts using Overleaf. Once complete, authors can submit the source files downloaded from Overleaf.
