Springer has provided LaTeX style files and example articles to help you prepare your paper for submission to their journals. This template is for contributions to the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) , based on the llncs2e.zip file from their author guidance page, with llncs.cls v2.20 (10 March 2018). The style files and example paper are pre-loaded into writeLaTeX as a template - you can now create an LNCS-formatted document for editing online simply by clicking the image above. For further information, please see their Information for LNCS Authors page, where you will find guidelines and technical instructions for the preparation of contributions.

This template can be used to prepare a research article for submission to OSA’s journals Applied Optics, Advances in Optics and Photonics, JOSA A, JOSA B and Optics Letters. Note that this template can be run from your own TeX system or within the cloud-based Overleaf system (formerly writeLaTeX). Once your article is complete, you may submit it directly to Prism (the OSA's article tracking system) via the 'Submit to OSA' option in the Overleaf editor. Version 1.4, 2015/10/20: update includes addition of Advances in Optics and Photonics style and update to Optics Letters template to include automatic generation of the two reference list styles (abbreviated and full). Version 1.5, 2016/04/19: update to OCIS code styling. Version 1.6, 2016/08/25: refactored .tex to make it more streamlined and less cluttered. Version 1.7, 2017/12/06: journal titles are automatically abbreviated when using BibTeX. aop.sty Version 1.1, 2017/03/25: AOP manuscripts have a narrower column. Version 1.8, 2018/05/20: OCIS codes are no longer compulsory. Version 1.9, 2018/07/19: The styles/ folder is now renamed legacy-styles.

Template for preparing your research report submission to PNAS using Overleaf
Overleaf and NAS have created this template for authors submitting research reports to PNAS. The template allows authors to easily prepare and edit their Contributed or Direct Submission manuscripts using Overleaf. Authors can then submit manuscripts to PNAS by using the PDF and source files generated by Overleaf. This template will work for both regular and Plus research reports. To begin writing online (in your browser), simply click the Open as Template button above. The Overleaf PNAS template will be loaded, and additional guidelines for preparing your submission are included within the template itself. If you're new to Overleaf and LaTeX, check out our tutorial video and free introductory course for help getting started.
