This is a sample file for ACM SIGPLAN conference proceedings, using acmart.cls v2.18 (2026/06/01). It is provided by the ACM as a template for submissions, and pre-loaded in Overleaf (formerly writeLaTeX) for ease of editing online. This repository contains new LaTeX template files for submissions to the Annual Conference of the Cognitive Science Society, to be used starting with the 2026 conference. Submissions are reviewed double-blind, so submissions must be anonymized. For details, see https://cognitivesciencesociety.org

In this document we focus on modifying the Linux Kernel through memory and scheduler parameters. The main objective is to study the performance of a computer during the execution of AIO-Stress Benchmark. It was necessary to run the test several times since three of the parameter mentioned in this project were modified 5 times. After completing the test, the results were displayed on graphs, showing that all the variables have a noticeable influence on the performance of the computer.
